My name is Sakshi Kulkarni and I am currently a final year engineering student at the University of Texas at Dallas working towards my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Neural Engineering. During the course of my academic career, I have managed to accrue nearly 4+ years of research experience and have had the opportunity to be actively involved in four highly challenging research projects on campus with work ranging from treating congenital tracheal stenosis to creating an artery on chip model to mitigate sickle cell disease to studying urinary incontinence using in-vivo models.  In addition to academia, I am also a freelance marketing consultant and have taken on creative projects with international clientele based startups.
